                                                           Merlin and Passerine Chase

Merlin and Passerine Chase.


A thirty second pursuit by a Merlin, firstly chasing a small passerine probably a Meadow Pipit, then as panic and confusion sets in the surrounding area a change of target takes place as one escapes and another target appears.
Timed between 13.24.35 and 13.25 05 pm.

Merlin is still in pursuit , but the small passerine is gaining some height.

The prolonged aerial pursuit is still ongoing.

Unfortunately the Starling did not escape, thirty seconds of aerial pursuit , manoeuvres and panic resulting in survival for the first intended target and the end for another who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Time from 13.24.35 to 13.25.05 pm, total chase and pursuit time thirty seconds.
